NEOBURRS are grouped into eight categories for different applications. Six shank types are available, FG, SS, FGSL, RA, RASL and HP. Head diameter is measured at the carbide diameter’s widest part.

OPERATIVE
The most popular NeoBurr shapes provide additional strength with single-piece construction of tungsten carbide for unparalleled concentricity. All other shapes have brazed/welded joint in the base of the neck, as opposed to the base of the head, to minimize breakage. These are constructed from a fine grade of tungsten carbide and a stainless steel shank. These 6-blade burs are available in FG (friction grip) and RA (right angle-latch type) shanks.

151-Z and 151L-Z Carbides
Designed using the latest in computer-controlled equipment to ensure premium quality and optimal results, the 151L cutting tip and six helical cutting blades make it ideal for sectioning an impacted wisdom tooth prior to its extraction. It can also be used for other applications that require length, end cutting and side cutting such as separating roots and removing broken root stumps.

Safe-Ended Endo Access Carbides
The six-bladed, long taper design opens the pulp chamber to a funnel shape for access to the root canals after initial penetration is performed. The rounded non-cutting tip prevents perforation of both the pulp chamber floor and root canal walls.
